Benton City Daze is held the 2nd weekend in September. This family
festival features
activities including a street dance, games, parade, craft show and
other vendors, variety show, lots of food, and much more. The
annual Little Miss Benton City pageant also is part of Benton City
Daze.

What’s happening at Daze this year
Lots of fun for the whole
family!Everybody loves a parade,
and this year’s is promising to be a good one.Following the parade, head over to the Park & Ride lot for a special
exhibition of the caballos bailadores (dancing horses).The Daze Zucchini Bake-Off is
returning this year by popular demand.The Little Miss Benton City competition is heating up with nine
girls vying for the title this year, and there’ll be some great entertainment
at the variety show.Be sure to
check out some really nice arts and crafts while the kids enjoy the petting
farm and games and activities throughout the day.Watch contestants catch some air at the skateboard exhibition
at the skate park then you won’t want to miss the bed races on Dale
Street next to City Park at 5 pm, this was a real kick last year!Then, back over to the stage for an evening
of karaoke.Bingo will
run all day at the Community Center, and the day will end with the big Daze raffle
prize drawing at 9 pm.
Cowboy up with all the weekend
happenings out at the Benton Co. Jr. Fair & Rodeo grounds, on Hayes Road
off OIE.Friday evening kicks off the
Daze events with a cow penning competition.“Beauty and the Beast” is the theme for Saturday night with some
top-notch barrel racing and bull riding.Then wrap things up with family fun and horseplay starting
at 10 am on Sunday.
