Sleeping Dog Wines has been producing small lots of wine using grapes from the Buoy Vineyard, off Corral Creek Road, since 2002. Our philosophy is that dogs and wines both improve with age; therefore, we produce our wines to benefit from bottle-aging prior to release. Since most consumers don’t have temperature-controlled wine cellars, we hold our reds until they are ready to drink, sometimes for 10 years or longer. We are still waiting for the dog to mellow out!
Until Benton County shifts into Phase 2, we are only selling wines for curbside pickup or delivery by arrangement; we are not conducting tastings. As a summer special, we are offering a three-pack of red wines from 2009 for a package price of $85, a 30% discount. The first ten customers to take advantage of this special will also receive a two-pack of custom truffles from Jade’s British Girl Treats. We also are offering a 20% discount on case purchases.
We have received authorization to extend our tasting area to the yard beneath the shade of two beautiful Linden Trees in our side yard, once we move into Phase 2. Customers will be expected to wear masks when coming and going, and to maintain “social distances” while at the winery.

We are happy to ship wine to you, or make arrangements for pickup at the winery!
By Appointment, or by Chance. If you are in the area, give a call (509-460-2886). We are often at home or nearby, and will be happy to open up if we are not in the middle of something – sometimes even when we are!
